I had the pleasure of overnighting in the two-bed cottage last week – it was truly an amazing experience!
The country setting surrounded by rolling hills; combined with Trish’s hospitality, impeccable decore and local produce pre-prepared in a hamper. Loads of things to see and do, including animal feeding! I would highly recommend this cottage farm-stay.

Wonderful luxury weekend away
Stayed in the Shay for a long weekend away enjoying the country and local vineyards and restaurants. Could not have asked for anything more. Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Lovely deck to sit on day and night. Wandered around the property and felt a million miles away from the hassle of the city. Perfect accommodation and a great host in Trish. Will be back (didn’t want to leave)

Peaceful and comfortable
We stayed in the 2-bedroom cottage in late August. Fully equipped and very comfortable, and totally peaceful in a secluded valley. High ceilings, lovely furnishings, warm fire plus aircon, beautiful bathroom and full kitchen fit-out with a good-sized fridge. Trish the host very helpful and with good advice on local attractions. Garden also colourful and welcoming. Could not have asked for more.

Magical Country Escape
We loved our short escape to the magical Country Miles Escape. It was so refreshing escaping the overwhelming smoke from the city to the green country side. Tris was very welcoming. Our little princess loved feeding the baby Goat. 🐐 Locally you can explore the many activities from horse riding, milking the Cow, dinning etc. Highly recommend it

Excellent – can’t wait to go back
The only reason for not giving this fabulous getaway five stars is to try and keep it a secret so it’s easier to get a booking for next time. What a magic location with total privacy – just you, the animals and the wildlife. The only thing friendlier than the cows, sheep and horses are Trish and her wonderful family. Beautifully appointed cottage, comfy bed and a spectacular bath looking over the scenery. Everything you think of for a country escape, but close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Mid Week Escape
From booking to departure Trish (owner) provided friendly, country hospitality. The accomodation is in an excellent location to explore the Scenic Rim and Lamington National Parks. The stylish, well appointed and private cottage is set on 70 acres which has great views, walking opportunities or just relax and unwind. Planning a return visit. Can recommend highly.

Quiet luxury retreat
Stayed only one night, unfortunately…
This place is a little gem in the countryside, very well decorated, with great equipment, clean and quiet. Trish is a very nice host who can provide advice regarding the activities around depending on your centres of interest. A Wonderful Experience
