Wreath Making
We will have the very clever florist Sam Dusting guiding you to create your own beautiful Country Christmas wreath in a 2.5 hr intimate workshop, while you enjoy local wine and cheese platter.
You will be accommodated for the night in a self-catering, luxurious country studio on the beautiful Country Mile Escape property. The 70-acre property is nestled in Flying Fox Valley, 15 minutes from Canungra and 45 minutes to the Gold Coast or 1 hour from Brisbane.
Your Itinerary
2pm. You arrive at Country Mile Escape and are greeted by your hostess Trish.
2.15 pm. Trish will take you into Canungra to let you have a wonder around in My Country Escape before starting the workshop at 3.00 pm, (wreath class is being held at MCE).
3-5 pm. With you settled in, it’s time to start creating your country style Christmas wreath. Learn how to create a Christmas wreath that’s beautiful, festive, and fun to make.
Under Sam’s expert guidance, you will be amazed at what you can create!
(All wreath materials are included in the cost.)
5 pm – it’s time to head back, relax and experience the serenity of Country Mile Escape. The farm animals may come to say hi as you sit relaxing with a drink.
You can also go for a walk around the property.
Once the stars come out, it’s magical to sit outside and chat with friends. The studio offers cooking facilities and a bar-b-que for you to use, so bring your favourite snacks. Or there is always the deep tub that’s just perfect for a soak.
